During the semi-final on Wednesday, as India played against New Zealand, Virat Kohli made history by becoming the first player to score 50 centuries in One Day International (ODI) cricket. This happened during the World Cup match being played at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai. Team India which is led by Rohit Sharma, won the game against New Zealand by 70 runs, securing their place in the ICC World Cup 2023 finals.
Anushka shared a picture of her beloved husband Virat Kohli on her Instagram story and expressed gratitude for having him in her life and witnessing his growth in cricket. She praised his achievements and his dedication to the sport, calling him “God’s child.”

She also posted a photo of some members of the Indian cricket team and wrote, “This. gun. team”. She did not leave the player of the match unpraised. The actress also praised Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami, who took seven wickets in the World Cup semi-final match. Shami’s performance set a record for the best figures by an Indian bowler in the tournament and earned him 50 wickets in just 17 games.
Shami, who received the player of the match award, talked about his strategy in the post-match presentation, emphasizing the importance of varying the pace and focusing on getting wickets.

This marks India’s fourth entry into the ODI World Cup final, having won the trophy in 1983 and 2011. India finished as runners-up in 2003. They will discover their final opponent after the match between Australia and South Africa at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday.
