He also shared an adorable family photo featuring himself, Genelia, and their sons Riaan and Rahyl, with all four smiling brightly.

Sitaare Zameen Par had a solid start at the box office, earning ₹11.7 crore on its opening day—matching the debut numbers of Aamir Khan’s 2022 film Laal Singh Chaddha. The film saw significant growth on Day 2 with ₹20.2 crore, and its collections are expected to cross ₹50 crore within the first week.
Riteish has been actively promoting the film, calling it the “best film of the year.” He praised Aamir Khan’s layered performance and called Genelia “pure magic on screen.” The actor also lauded director RS Prasanna, writer Divy Nidhi Sharma, and the film’s music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Ram Sampath.
Directed by RS Prasanna, Sitaare Zameen Par is a sports-comedy drama centered around Gulshan (Aamir Khan), a former basketball coach who mentors neurodivergent children as part of his community service. Genelia plays his supportive wife, Sunita. The film released in theatres on June 20.
