Ajith Kumar’s Tamil film Vidaamuyarchi has continued to perform well at the box office in Tamil Nadu, following its strong opening on Thursday. Despite being a working day, the movie has managed to keep the audience engaged and is drawing crowds to theatres in key markets.

The film experiences steady occupancy on day 2. Morning shows occupied 21.48% of seats. The afternoon or matinee shows occupied 31.44%. In Chennai, crucial to the Tamil cinema market, the film holds its ground with a mere 40% of morning shows and went down marginally to 37% in the afternoon.
