Rumour has it that Shruti Haasan has been approached for Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, a biopic based on freedom fighter Narasimha Rao. The film, which is being helmed by Surender Reddy, will feature popular actor Chiranjeevi. Reportedly, the actress hasn’t signed the film yet but there are high possibilities of it happening.
According to an Indian Express report, Shruti is currently occupied with her television show Hello Sago and a few concerts. The publication quoted a source as saying that Telugu cinema is always close to Shruti, and she has given fantastic films there. So, there are high possibilities of her considering the offer. The report also says that the actress won’t be paired opposite Chiranjeevi in the film even if she agrees to come on board.

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is going to be a multi-starrer featuring actors such as Amitabh Bachchan, Kichcha Sudeep, Jagapathi Babu, Nayanthara, Tamannaah, Vijay Sethupati and Pragya Jaiswal in pivotal roles.

Shruti Hassan made her last big-screen appearance in Srimanthudu. The film was helmed by Koratala Siva and features Mahesh Babu, Jagapati Babu, and Sampath Raj, among others in pivotal roles. The movie hit screens on August 7 and became a huge success. According to the report, Shruti was supposed to feature in Sangamithra, an ambitious project of Sundar C but the role eventually passed on to Disha Patani. Now, whether the actress will be seen in Surender Reddy helmed biopic or not is still not confirmed.
