Salman Khan starrer ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ box office collections have kept soaring as the movie enters its second week in theatres, entering the Rs 200 crore club in domestic collections in just a week’s time after the blockbuster earned Rs 20.05 crore on its second Saturday (day 9) – the India collections are Rs 217.82 crore.
And if to the whopping ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ box office collections you add the foreign take too, the sum total for the Salman Khan release jumps to Rs 254.15 crore.
“Bajrangi Bhaijaan records a huge second Saturday of Rs 20.05 crore (India),” said the distributors Eros International in a statement.

After a considerable jump from the opening day (July 17) where the movie collected Rs 27.25 crore, the film went on to make Rs 36.60 crore and Rs 38.75 crore on last weekend.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#BajrangiBhaijaan continues to take giant strides. Witnesses massive jump on Saturday. Week 2: Friday 13.15 cr, Saturday 20.05 cr. Total: Rs. 217.82 cr.”
The cross-border drama is about Bajrangbali (Hanuman) devotee Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi’s (played by Salman) journey from India to escort a six-year-old mute Pakistani girl back to her village.

Directed by Kabir Khan, the film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and child actress Harshaali Malhotra in pivotal roles.
