At just 23 years old, Nihal Ruparel, an Indian filmmaker, has rapidly ascended to international fame and influence with his trailblazing media company, Atmosphre. From humble beginnings as a videographer to directing videos featuring renowned artists like Post Malone, Sean Kingston, and Tyla Yaweh, Nihal’s journey has been nothing short of remarkable, leaving industry veterans in awe.

“I’ve been obsessed with videography since childhood,” Nihal shares. “My passion started after experimenting with an old film camera. I was immediately hooked, spending all my free time shooting everything I could.” What began as a hobby during his early teens quickly evolved into a promising career.

Even at a young age, Nihal Ketan Ruparel demonstrated his talent by capturing major national branding campaigns for esteemed brands like Cadbury and Maybelline. When asked about his signature style, which seamlessly blends Indian tradition with contemporary aesthetics, Nihal explains, “Studying our historical artistic lineage and integrating those visual ideas with modern videography has defined my creative point-of-view.”

Recognizing his potential, Nihal embarked on a global journey to learn from industry experts across Europe, Asia, and America. “That global immersion expanded my perspective exponentially. I blended techniques from visionary artists worldwide with my own cultural lens to shape a unique style,” he says.

In 2022, Nihal Ruparel took a bold leap forward by launching Atmosphre, an ambitious creative house dedicated to producing cinematic films and music videos guided by cultural storytelling. “At Atmosphre, we build visual worlds where artistry, culture, and commerce seamlessly converge,” he asserts.

In just over a year, his company has created branded content for international clients like Alo Yoga, directed commercials featuring athletes like Serena Williams, and produced music videos for artists including Diljit Dosanjh. “I dreamed about running a company like this my whole life. Now at 23, I’m just scratching the surface of what’s possible,” Nihal says. “My biggest motivation is inspiring other young Indian creatives to follow their passions.
