17 years on, Hugh Jackman plays the Marvel comic character ‘Logan’ for the last time and the movie makes a weekend box office collection of Rs 1500 crore world wide. The movie made a stunning start both in domestic and foreign markets. In its domestic market, the movie collected over $88 million (approx. Rs 590 Cr) and in the foreign market, the movie collected over $159 million (approx. Rs 1060 Cr). This was the last time when actor Hugh Jackman will play the character of ‘Wolverine.’

Directed by James Mangold, Logan is most brutal of all the earlier Wolverine films, it is story about how Logan under takes a road trip to save someone close to him at the time when everything is lost and what awaits in front of him is one final mission. Hugh Jackman has played the character of Wolverine in nine out of the ten movies. Along with him, Patrick Stewart, Richard E. Grant, Stephen Merchant, Boyd Holbrook and Dafne Keen also feature in the film. ‘Logan’ was the tenth installment in the X-Men movie series and third and final Wolverine film succeeding X-Men Origins: Wolverine that released in 2009 and The Wolverine that released in 2013.
According to an Indian Express report, when asked about having the healing powers of Logan in real life, Jackman jokingly pointed towards his nose and said, “You can see I am not healing as much as I wish I had. I wish I had the little bit of Logan’s healing powers.” He also said, “I am happier in general. I am fine and happy. Yes, we become sad and regret in life but nothing to the degree that owns this man (his character in the film). He was a good man. I was always touched with the character. He had a good heart,” in an interview with IANS.
