Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty and her husband, Raj Kundra, were involved in legal trouble yet again. Accused of misappropriating funds and defrauding Deepak Kothari, a businessman of Rs 60 crore, a ‘lookout notice’ was issued against the couple yesterday.
At the same time, featured in director Farah Khan’s famous vlogs was their extravagant Rs 100 crore abode. Featuring a breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea, the Kundra household lives lavishly in Mumbai. Their two-storey house, Kinara, is located along the Juhu coast.
From a leather lift, home gym, and indoor fountain
All shown in Khan’s YouTube vlog, the home opens with a massive entrance door. Expect no ordinary home decor, as it features intricate work with lotus carvings, gold detailing, and silver elephants to greet you by the door. This, however, is reportedly a popular feng shui practice, as a symbol of protection.
Opening to a vast entrance hall, their living room has several antique mirrors, chandeliers, and an overall wooden aesthetic. With a gold-accent wall, the first floor is popular for hosting guests, where a life-size wooden horse poses as a corner piece. A chic bar in the living room, it also features massive wall-length windows with an exquisite home aesthetic.
Probably the secret behind Shilpa Shetty‘s consistent fitness routine is her iconic home gym. Fully equipped with machines, weights, and much more, Shetty has often shared her home workouts on social media from this space.
The two-storey house is also connected with an iconic leather decor lift. The green leather adds a luxe touch to the elevator, giving it an uber-luxurious finish. To top it all, the second floor has a very different aesthetic from the rest of the house. The ornate furnishing, exclusive home decor pieces, ‘Kinara’ also has an indoor fountain set into a glass floor right at the entrance. With a separate living area, it has an exquisitely white sofa set, setting the calming tone of their humble abode.
Following the lift’s green aesthetic, Shetty also has an iconic kitchen. Decorated in a bold neon green, the Kundra family has their kitchen garden where the ever-fit Bollywood actress is seen tending to vegetables and flowers.
