The much-anticipated Telugu film Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani is gradually moving towards Rs 100 crore milestone. The movie is directed by Shankar, this marks his debut in the Telugu industry. As per reports from Sachnilk.com, the movie has earned near about Rs 90 crore in the span of just three days. Game Changer has also recorded a major feat by surpassing the lifetime earnings of Shankar’s previous movie Indian 2 featuring Kamal Haasan.

Box office collection

As per latest data Game Changer has garnered Rs 17 crore on its third day from all different languages. Telugu version has earned Rs 8 crore, Hindi category has collected Rs 7.7 crore, Tamil managed to bring Rs 1.2 crore and Kannada made Rs 10 lakh. This movie has already crossed India 2’s domestic collection of Rs 81.32 crore. Despite earning huge profit, the movie has yet to meet box office expectations for a Maha Sankranti release.

On its first day of its release, Game Changer has collected a stunning Rs 51 crore in total in India. However, the numbers witnessed a drastic fall by 57,65 % on the second day of its release and earned Rs 21,6 crore in total.

Despite the initial hype, the movie has struggled to maintain momentum during the weekend. It is also facing competition from other releases like Venkatesh’s Sankranthiki Vasthunam and Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaaj. There is a possibility the Game Changer can attract more audiences to the movie hall in the upcoming holiday week.

Ram Charan is playing the double role of IAS officer Ram Nandan and an activist Appanna in the movie. The story is based on the fight against corruption. The film also stars Kiara Advani and Anjali in major roles.
