‘Furious 7’ helmer James Wan has been brought aboard to direct ‘Aquaman’ and ‘Robotech.’
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Wan,38, has sealed the deal with Warner Bros. for the Jason Momoa starrer “water” superhero flick. In addition to that he’s also be taking the helm of Sony’s upcoming ‘Robotech’ adaptation.
They are hoping the film would give a start to new franchise.
The DC comics’ inspired superhero will debut next year in ‘Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice,’ and the film is slated for a 2018 release.
