The Ayushmann Khuranna starrer Dum Laga Ke Haisha box office collections running have not shrunk during the second week. Going by the collections, the film has achieved a rare feat by performing better in its second weekend. Yash Raj Films’ romantic comedy that also marks the debut of Bhumi Pednekar has charmed the audiences and critics alike with its rural appeal.

In this box office report, we compare the first weekend collections to the second weekend collections of Dum Laga Ke Haisha. According to the report, there has been a jump in the second weekend collections of the film compared to the first weekend. While the film collected only Rs. 6.12 crores in its first weekend, it collected Rs. 6.72 crores in the second weekend.

Dum Laga Ke Haisha seems to be following the footsteps of the Kangna Ranaut starrer Queen which had achieved a similar feat wherein it collected Rs 10 crore in its first weekend while it collected Rs 11.45 crore in its second weekend.

For Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Yash Raj Films’ decided to follow a different strategy compared to the other big starrers. They decided to release the film only in a few limited screens but the sudden jump in the collections was a result of the strong word of mouth.

However, this report includes only the domestic collections considering that the film is yet to release in international markets.
