The Bollywood film ‘Crew’, featuring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon, made its theatrical debut on Friday, March 29. Day 3 box office numbers reveal a notable increase in domestic earnings compared to the previous day.
As per film industry tracker Sacnilk, the movie amassed Rs 29.25 crore net over its three-day theatrical run. Early estimates suggest that on Day 3, the film, co-produced by Rhea Kapoor, generated Rs 10.25 crore net.
According to reports, the film amassed Rs 9.25 crore net on its premiere day. ‘Crew’ experienced a surge in earnings in the subsequent two days, with Rs 9.75 crore net recorded on March 30.
In terms of its global performance, the Ekta Kapoor co-produced film garnered Rs 15 crore overseas.
Rajesh Krishnan’s directorial saw a 28.85% Hindi occupancy on Saturday. Alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon, the cast includes Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma.
Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Network, the film’s official Instagram account for Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Network stated that it grossed Rs 20.07 crore worldwide on Day 1 and Rs 21.06 crore on Day 2, accumulating a total of Rs 41.13 crore. The production house had previously declared that this achievement marked the highest collection for a female-led film on Day 1.
