Anil Kapoor and his son Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor have a new real estate investment. They have bought a premium apartment in Bandra West, Mumbai, for Rs 5 crore, according to property registration documents accessed on the official website of the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) Maharashtra. Bandra West continues to remain one of Mumbai’s most sought-after real estate destinations, known for its upscale residential projects, an old-world heritage charm, and great connectivity to different parts of the city. The area features a mix of high-end apartments, heritage bungalows, and boutique commercial spaces, making it a preferred choice for celebrities, entrepreneurs, and investors alike.
The area also enjoys excellent connectivity via the Western Express Highway, Bandra railway station, and several upcoming Metro corridors. Its proximity to business hubs such as Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Lower Parel, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport further adds to the high prices here, making it one of the most lucrative addresses in Mumbai’s luxury property segment.
Details of the apartment
As per the registered documents, the father-son duo have bought the property in The Smoky Hill CHS Ltd., a well-known residential development in Bandra West. The apartment offers a built-up area of 108.25 sq. m. (approximately 1,165 sq. ft.) and a carpet area of 970.71 sq. ft. (around 90 sq. m.). The deal also includes one dedicated garage space, adding to the property’s premium value.
For the transaction, the Kapoors paid a stamp duty of Rs 30 lakh and registration charges of Rs 30,000, as per IGR data.

Anil Kapoor has been in the movies for over four decades. From classics like Mr. India, Ram Lakhan, and Tezaab to international hits like Slumdog Millionaire and Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, the actor has consistently experimented with himself. Most recently, Kapoor was seen in YRF’s spy thriller War 2, alongside Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR.
Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, who made his acting debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Mirzya in 2016, has also carved out his niche in Bollywood with unconventional roles. His performances in Bhavesh Joshi Superhero (2018) and the Netflix thriller Thar (2022) have been highly appreciated.
