South Korean Actor Song Jae Rim Passes Away: South Korean actor Song Jae Rim was found dead at his apartment in Seoul’s Seongdong District on Tuesday, at the age of 39, media reports said. The Seongdong Police Station has reportedly confirmed the news. The cause of death is still unknown.
The K-drama actor appeared in several shows, including the 2012 series The Moon Embracing the Sun.
An investigation is underway, and a “two-page letter” was reportedly found at the scene. The actor’s funeral is scheduled for November 14. Police officials have stated that there are no signs of foul play at this time.
Born in 1985, Song Jae Rim debuted in the 2009 film Actresses and rose to fame with his role in the 2012 drama The Moon Embracing the Sun. He appeared in several popular TV dramas, such as Flower Boy Ramen Shop, Inspiring Generation, Two Weeks, Goodbye Mr. Black, Bad Girls, Our Gap-soon, Surfing House, Let Me Hear Your Song, and Queen Woo.
