UPSC CSE Notification 2024: UPSC Civil Service Examination (CSE) is often counted amongst the toughest exams in India. It is conducted in three stages – Preliminary exam, Mains examination and the final interview. Through the Civil Services Examination, the UPSC selects individuals for diverse positions in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Revenue Service (IRS), and more, across Central and All India Civil Service posts.
In India, State Public Service Commissions administer civil service examinations for recruiting candidates to state services. These State PSC Exams follow a similar format to the UPSC Civil Services Exam.

When and Where to Check the UPSC CSE 2024 Notification
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is scheduled to release the official notification for the UPSC Civil Service Examination (CSE) 2024 on February 14, which will be available on its official website, upsc.gov.in.
When will the registration process start?
Following the release of the notification, the registration process for the UPSC CSE 2024 Exam will commence. Eligible candidates can apply for the IAS exam through the official UPSC website. The last date for candidates to submit their applications is March 5, 2024.
When will the Prelims Exam be held?
As per the official UPSC Exam Schedule 2024, the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination (UPSC Prelims) is scheduled for May 26, 2024. Successful candidates will advance to the UPSC CSE Main 2024 examination, set to begin on September 20.

Eligible candidates can follow the following steps to apply for the UPSC CSE examination 2024.

Register at One time Registration Platform (OTR)
Click on the Apply Online link after registration
Candidates will have to fill the registration forms in two sections.
In Part-I of the application form, candidates are required to provide their personal information such as Name, Address, Email ID, Contact Number, and Parents’ names.
Part-II of the application process entails paying the application fee, uploading scanned documents including the candidate’s photograph and signature, and selecting the examination center.
After completing the necessary details in the application form, proceed to submit the form.
