The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has announced the schedule for the IIT Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2025.
The registration window for JAM 2025, organized by IIT Delhi, will open on September 3, 2024. Candidates seeking admission to various master’s programs for the academic year 2025-26 can apply online through the JAM application portal at https://joaps.iitd.ac.in/.
The last date to register for the test is Friday, October 11, 2024. The exam will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2025.
JAM 2025 will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) in seven subjects: Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PH). The exam will take place in over 100 cities across India.
Candidates who have completed or are in the final year of their undergraduate degree are eligible to apply for JAM 2025. There is no age restriction. Additionally, foreign nationals holding an Indian degree are eligible to apply, subject to the policies of the admitting institute.
Candidates who feature in the JAM 2025 merit list will be eligible for admission to approximately 3,000 seats in various postgraduate programs at IITs and over 2,000 seats at IISc, NITs, IIEST Shibpur, SLIET, and DIAT through CCMN. The available programs include M.Sc., M.Sc. (Tech), M.Sc.-M.Tech. Dual Degree, M.S. (Research), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., and M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree across various institutes.
