The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to initiate registration for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2024 today, February 26. Aspiring candidates can access the CUET online application form on the official website cuet.samarth.ac.in. The registration process for CUET UG is expected to commence in the evening, and candidates are advised to closely monitor the NTA’s official website for updates.

CUET UG 2024 is scheduled to take place from May 15 to May 31, 2024, with results anticipated within three weeks of the final test date. In 2023, CUET UG was conducted in phases from May 21 to June 23.

Candidates currently appearing for their Class 12 exams in 2024 are eligible to apply. However, they must submit relevant documents confirming their Class 12 qualification within the specified timeframe mentioned in the university’s information bulletin for admission consideration.

Regarding the format of CUET UG, discussions among key officials are underway regarding the potential elimination of score normalization for its upcoming third edition, as proposed by the NTA. The NTA is considering a hybrid approach to administering the examination, which typically spans a month, indicating a significant change in its format.

Expected to adopt a hybrid model, the exam is likely to blend traditional OMR sheets with computer-based testing methods. Additionally, the NTA aims to reduce the exam duration, providing candidates with more flexibility in selecting their preferred examination venue.
