The National Medical Commission (NMC) has released an official statement announcing the list of colleges that will be either increasing the number of seats in postgraduate medical courses or introducing new postgraduate courses for the next academic session.

This comprehensive list is readily accessible on the official website of the NMC, ensuring easy navigation for interested candidates and stakeholders.

Nearly 154 colleges have unveiled a range of fresh postgraduate programs, covering diverse areas such as Immunology, Haematology and Blood Transfusion, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Emergency Medicine, and Forensic Medicine.

In a recent announcement, the NMC confirmed the dispatch of notifications regarding 204 online applications to respective medical institutions via email. Institutions are urged to promptly act upon these notifications within the stipulated timeframe.

Additionally, the NMC revealed that 10 medical institutions have formally requested the withdrawal of their applications for initiating new postgraduate medical courses or expanding seat capacities. Following careful consideration, these requests received approval from the Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB).
