Footprints, a play school and preschool brand, has unveiled an expansion plan. The school claims that its goal is to launch 200 new centres by the end of 2025, bringing the company’s total count to 350 centres throughout India. This move is expected to boost the company’s gross revenue run rate to Rs 275 crore, according to an official release.
The expansion strategy focuses primarily on tier A and select tier B cities with a significant urban family population. Footprints prioritises locations with strong demand potential and favourable demographics for early education services. Currently operational in 20 cities, the brand aims to extend its reach to nearly 40 cities nationwide by 2025, the release mentioned.
The brand claims to have been investing in AI technology to enhance operational efficiency. This investment aims to enable real-time monitoring of crucial aspects such as lesson plan delivery, cleanliness, and adult-child ratios, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
“Our focus remains on providing exceptional early education and childcare services while leveraging technology to enhance parental involvement and operational efficiency,” Raj Singhal, co-founder and CEO, Footprints, said.
Furthermore, Footprints has established a hybrid model that combines the strengths of franchise and company-operated centres. This approach ensures unmatched quality and scalability while maintaining a commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for children. It empowers parents to actively participate in their child’s growth journey, it added.
