Union Minister for Education, Dharmendra Pradhan, released the India Rankings 2024, covering 16 categories, including management, pharmacy, state universities and more. In the management category, JIMS Rohini, a Delhi based B-School, demonstrated its excellence by securing the 87th position in the NIRF 2024 rankings.

A total of 6,517 unique institutions participated in the ranking process under various categories and domains, including ‘Overall,’ category-specific and domain-specific rankings. These institutions submitted 10,845 applications, with 2,781 applications for the Overall Category, 1,463 for Engineering and 3,371 for General Degree Colleges.

Since the inception of India Rankings, 100 institutions have been ranked in the Overall, Universities, Engineering and College categories. Additionally, 100 institutions are ranked in the Overall and Universities categories across two rank bands of 50 each, while 200 additional institutions are ranked in Engineering and Colleges across three rank bands: two of 50 each (100-150 and 151-200) and one of 100 (201-300).
