The Association for Reinventing School Education (ARISE) has officially launched its new independent avatar, ushering in a new era of innovation in India’s education landscape. ARISE, originally incubated under the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in 2016, aims to unify progressive educational voices to address the diverse challenges within India’s school system.

ARISE brings together thought leaders, school promoters, policymakers and technical experts under its motto, ‘Student First,’ to collaboratively advance reforms in both private and public schools.  As one of the world’s largest and most complex school systems, India faces a range of educational challenges, from child safety to accreditation. ARISE’s platform claims to offer a space for collaboration to address these pressing issues.

Association’s long-term vision includes fostering partnerships with the Ministry of Education at both central and state levels. Over the past seven years, FICCI ARISE has published research and driven impactful changes, contributing significantly to policy improvements.

Prabhat Jain, President of ARISE, emphasised the importance of open dialogue, innovation and integrity in shaping the future of Indian education. “Our members are motivated to contribute positively to the holistic development of students, ensuring their readiness to meet the challenges of the 21st century with resilience and adaptability. FICCI remains committed to strengthen these efforts and support the cause of ARISE in the times to come,” he said.

FICCI President Dr. Anish Shah said, “FICCI will continue to support its mission for educational reform, ensuring the future of India’s school system aligns with global standards.”

“FICCI remains committed to strengthen these efforts and support the cause of ARISE in the times to come. FICCI and ARISE will continue to work together for the benefit of this extremely important sector,” he added.
