CBSE CTET result 2015: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the results of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) September 2015. The candidates can check the results at the official website cbse.nic.in.
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) was conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on September 20.
Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for class I to VIII in any of the schools referred to in Clause (n) of section 2 of the RTE Act.
How to check CBSE CTET result:
1.Go to the official website cbse.nic.in
2. Click on the link, ‘Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) – SEP 2015’
3.Enter the roll number
4. The results will be displayed on the screen. The candidates are advised take a print-out for future reference.
A total number of 6,55,660 candidates appeared for examination out of which 1,14,580 candidates successfully passed the CTET held in September 2015. The overall pass percentage of candidate who appeared in CTET September 2015 is 17.48% whereas in last CTET held in February 2015 the overall pass percentage was 12.18%.
About CTET exam:
Regarded as the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for class I to VIII, CTET has two papers. While Paper I is for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes I to V, Paper II is for the ones aiming at teaching classes VI to VIII. All the questions in both exams are in multiple choice (MCQs) format, each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. There was no negative marking.
