Online travel portal Yatra.com has raised R140 crore in a new funding round, led by new investors IDG Ventures and Vertex Venture Management Pte, and existing seed investor Norwest Venture Partners (NVP). The fresh capital will be used to invest in mobile technology, and fuel growth for Yatra in the hotels and holidays business.

This new investment will enable us to enhance our mobile technology, and also strengthen our execution capabilities,? said Dhruv Shringi, co-founder and CEO of Yatra.com.
