A woman’s body was recovered from a water tank inside the campus of Greater Noida’s Gautam Buddha University in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, triggering panic in the varsity.

Authorities suspect the involvement of the victim’s husband and her mother-in-law, who have been absconding since Monday morning.

A preliminary probe revealed that the woman’s husband worked in the JIMS Hospital nearby. The two would often quarrel, residents have told police.
