Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was admitted to AIIMS after experiencing uneasiness and chest pain, sources said on Sunday. The 73-year-old was taken to the hospital around 2 AM and is currently in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) under the supervision of Dr. Rajiv Narang, Head of the Department of Cardiology. Dhankhar is in stable condition and a team of doctors is closely monitoring his condition, according to PTI.
Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda visited AIIMS to inquire about Dhankhar’s condition.
