Telangana’s ruling party Bharatiya Rashtriya Samithi (BRS) has announced a set of political campaigns that will be led by Chief Minister and party president K Chandrashekar Rao ahead of Telangana Assembly elections. The party said that KCR will be addressing 41 public rallies across the state starting from October 15.

On the very first day of the campaign, KCR will be releasing the party manifesto while addressing a public meeting at Husnabad in Siddipet district on October 15.

As per the released tentative schedule on October 10, the first spot to address the rally will be at Jangaon and Bhuvanagiri on October 16, followed by campaign meetings at Sircilla and Siddipet on October 17. Then, the CM KCR will attend two meetings at Jadcherla and Medchal on October 18.

After the successful public rallies in 6 districts, he is scheduled to attend three rallies on October 26 with a week gap in between. The political campaign will be last addressed on November 9. According to the official election dates released by the Election Commission of India on Monday, Telangana will be casting vote on November 30, 2023.

This time, CM KCR has decided to nominate his name for Gajwel and Kamareddy constituencies on the last day of the campaign, October 9. Meanwhile, the BJP announced that prominent party figures like Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, and Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti would participate in the party’s campaign until October 19.
