Singer Lucky Ali has lodged a complaint with the Karnataka Lokayukta against IAS Officer Rohini Sindhuri, her husband Sudhir Reddy, and her brother-in-law Madhusudhan Reddy, accusing them of land grabbing. Ali alleges that Sindhuri, her family members, and certain officials have used state resources and funds to illegally encroach upon his property.

Ali confirmed the filing through a post on his X handle on Thursday, sharing an image of the complaint. The document lists the names of Rohini Sindhuri, Sudhir Reddy, Madhusudhan Reddy, Yelanhanka New Town ACP Manjunath, a Yelanhanka New Town Sub-Inspector and Taluk surveyor Manohar.

Earlier in December 2022, the singer had raised a similar complaint against the same group of people. Ali had then tagged the Karnataka Director General of Police in a series of tweets, claiming that his farm, a trust property, was being illegally encroached upon by Sudhir and Madhu Reddy with the aid of Sindhuri.

The IAS official named in this case is also involved in a separate legal dispute with IPS officer D Roopa Moudgil. In February 2023, Sindhuri was accused by Moudgil in Facebook posts of sharing private pictures with fellow IAS officers. This public feud resulted in the State government transferring both officers.

The matter further reached the apex court. The Supreme Court gave the two government officers several opportunities to settle their differences and “work out a solution which will be in the interest of both”. Sindhuri sought an apology from D Roopa for social media posts which the IPS officer removed after intervention of the SC.
