Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi to check on the health of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar.

Vice President admitted to AIIMS after chest pain
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was admitted to AIIMS early on Sunday, March 9, 2025, after experiencing uneasiness and chest pain. He was taken to the hospital at around 2 am and admitted to the Critical Care Unit (CCU) under the supervision of Dr. Rajiv Narang, Head of the Department of Cardiology at AIIMS. The 73-year-old Vice President’s condition is reported to be stable, and he remains under observation, with a dedicated team of doctors closely monitoring his health.
Apart from PM Modi, Union Health Minister JP Nadda also visited AIIMS to inquire about the Vice President’s health.
