Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while on a two-day trip to Lakshadweep, went snorkelling and shared stunning pictures from the adventurous activity on Thursday. The PM termed his snorkelling experience as “exhilarating”.
The Prime Minister also went for a walk on the beach clad in a relaxed black kurta and white slippers with nothing but endless waters and sand behind him.

Sharing pictures of the beautiful islands, PM Modi wrote on X, “In addition to the scenic beauty, Lakshadweep’s tranquility is also mesmerising. It gave me an opportunity to reflect on how to work even harder for the welfare of 140 crore Indians.”

The Prime Minister also shared pictures which were taken underwater which show the reefs and marine life which he got to see when he went snorkeling.

During his visit to Lakshadweep, the Prime Minister inaugurated development projects worth more than Rs 1,150 crore.
He also interacted with the residents of Agatti, Bangaram and Kavaratti and thanked them for their hospitality. He added that his journey to Lakshadweep was an “enriching journey of learning and growing”.
