“Nitish Kumar is the Shahid Afridi of India, loving his comeback with absolute conviction,” Congress said today as the JD-U leader escalated the battle against expelled Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi.
“If BJP is unable to control/get Delhi, how Wl it help manjhi or keep him afloat’, party spokesman Abhishek Singhvi said in a series of tweets.
“Babu jagjiwan ram’s Bihar is now ram Bharose!”, he said.
Singhvi also had a dig at BJP on the eve of the counting of votes in Delhi Assembly elections with exit polls giving a majority to AAP. “Bjp like cricket team india seems to be headed downwards after a winning streak”.
Congresss’ praise of Nitish has come on a day when he threatened to take the battle for power to the President if his claim to form the government is not accepted while expelled Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi sought a trial of strength by secret vote in the Assembly.
Pakistani cricketer Afridi is known as an all-rounder.
