Bharatiya Janata Party leader Pratul Shah Deo expressed confidence in the party’s success in the upcoming Jharkhand assembly elections, stating that the NDA is in its “strongest” position following the announcement of the seat-sharing agreement.
The BJP is all set to contest 68 seats in the upcoming Jharkhand assembly elections, which have a total of 81 constituencies. Its allies include the All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU), contesting 10 seats; Janata Dal (United), fielding candidates in two seats; and the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), vying for the lone seat of Chatra.

Speaking to ANI, Deo expressed confidence in the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) position, stating, “After the seat sharing has been finalised, I can say that NDA is at it’s strongest in Jharkhand so far. It has never been in history that four parties have come together to fight the elections.”
He added that NDA allies are prepared to swap seats if necessary, saying, “We are ready to throw the corrupt government off the seat. All NDA members should come and fight with us. Hemant Soren’s government is the most corrupt in the state’s history.”
Deo also took a jab at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, suggesting that his upcoming visit to Jharkhand could benefit the NDA. “We wanted Rahul Gandhi to come here earlier. His coming here would for obvious reasons help increase the seats for our party. After his failure three times, people have lost hope in him, and he only questions the integrity of the nation,” Deo added.
