Some men opened fire at a cafe in South Delhi’s Satya Niketan area on Sunday after they had an argument with the manager over a table.

One person, identified as Ahmed, was arrested by Delhi Police from the scene, ANI reported.

According to the police, a group of men from Jahangirpuri had come to the Love Bites Cafe in the Satya Niketan area to celebrate a birthday party.

The situation escalated when a disagreement over seating arrangements arose between the group and the cafe manager. The altercation quickly turned violent, leading one of the young men to open fire inside the pub.

During the argument, Ahmed fired a few rounds in the air. However, no one was injured. Later, the restaurant authorities made a PCR call and the accused was arrested.

“The police have nabbed one of the accused and the efforts to catch the rest of them are underway,” Delhi Police told ANI.
