The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches at the home of a Noida-based couple on Friday for operating an adult webcam streaming studio. The couple used to hire models through social media platforms to provide live-streaming services for an adult entertainment company based in Cyprus.
“During the search proceedings, various incriminating evidence, foreign inward remittances details, and cash amounting to Rs 8 lakh were found and seized,” the ED said in a statement.

The law enforcement and economic intelligence agency also recorded the statements of several models featured in these adult videos who were present at the time of the raid.
The ED raided Subdigi Ventures Private Limited in Noida under Section 37 of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) and Section 132 of the Income-tax Act. The company, owned by Ujjwal Kishore and Neelu Shrivastava, used to supply content to Technius Limited, a Cyprus-based firm hosting adult content websites.

The couple used to provide wrong information while receiving foreign remittances in their bank accounts. They provided banks with incorrect purpose codes, falsely categorising the transactions as payments for advertising, market research, and public opinion polling services.
According to the Enforcement Directorate, Rs 15.66 crore has been traced so far in the accounts of Subdigi Ventures Private Limited and its directors, PTI reported.
The models received 25 per cent of the total income they generated, while the couple pocketed the remaining 75 per cent.
Last week, Delhi Police busted a sex racket operating in Paharganj and rescued 23 women, including three minors and 10 foreign nationals. Seven people involved in racket were arrested. Police said that the accused lured women from Nepal and various parts of India, including West Bengal, and brought them to Delhi. They were initially housed at a designated location before being sent to different hotels for prostitution.
