For the second time in a week, mild earthquake tremors were felt across Delhi-NCR, including parts of Gurugram, Faridabad, and other adjoining cities on Friday evening, triggering brief panic among residents.

According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the tremor was recorded at a magnitude of 3.7 on the Richter scale, with the epicentre located in Jhajjar, Haryana. The quake occurred at 7:49 PM IST, at a depth of 10 kilometers beneath the Earth’s surface.

Tremors were reported by several residents across social media platforms, with users from Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, and Faridabad sharing their experiences of the mild shaking. No casualties or property damage have been reported so far.

This is the second consecutive day that the region has experienced seismic activity, raising concerns among citizens about possible aftershocks or a developing seismic pattern in the region. However, seismologists have not issued any warnings or alerts related to further quakes at this time.
