Previously, on December 10, 2024, at least 44 schools across Delhi received an email warning of explosives on their premises, triggering panic and confusion on Monday morning. Schools swiftly evacuated thousands of students mid-class, while security forces conducted extensive searches across multiple campuses.

By Monday afternoon, Delhi Police confirmed the threat was a hoax after no explosives were found. However, security was heightened across the city, with police setting up cordons and keeping emergency response vehicles on standby outside major schools.
