Soon after the Election Commission of India starts counting the votes at 8:00 am on Saturday, they will start releasing the electoral trends. To check who is winning and who is trailing, you can go on ECI’s official website – eci.gov.in. Initial trends will start coming in about half-an-hour after the counting begins, with seat-by-seat results being announced throughout the day. In the Delhi Election 2025, 699 candidates are contesting from across 70 assembly seats. The elections were held in a single-phase on Wednesday. The key parties in this race are the incumbent Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and the Indian National Congress. The Election Commission of India reported a voter turnout of 60.42% on February 5. These results will determine if AAP can secure a third consecutive term in power or if the BJP will end its 27-year wait to regain control of Delhi. A party needs at least 36 seats to form the government in the capital.

AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal is contesting the New Delhi seat against BJP’s Parvesh Verma and Congress’s Sandeep Dikshit. Delhi CM and AAP candidate Atishi is running from Kalkaji, facing Congress’s Alka Lamba and BJP’s Ramesh Bidhuri. Manish Sisodia of AAP is fighting for the Jangpura seat against Congress’s Farhad Suri and BJP’s Tarvinder Singh Marwah. Senior AAP leader Satyendar Jain is contesting from Shakur Basti, competing against BJP’s Karnail Singh.
