The Congress workers staged a protest against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Ashwini Chaubey here on Saturday for his alleged remark against party president Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul Gandhi.
The protestors shouted slogans denouncing Chaubey and carried placards with messages demanding his apology.
According to reports, Chaubey had earlier described Sonia Gandhi as mythical demonic character ‘Putana’ and called Rahul Gandhi a ‘Parrot’.
