Months after the Supreme Court’s verdict to vacate its current office, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has found a new office address. The party has been allotted a new office in the Lutyens Delhi area.
According to party sources, AAP’s new office is Bungalow No. 1 in Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla Lane. The Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has allocated the Type-VII bungalow, PTI reported.
The AAP headquarters was earlier located at Rouse Avenue. But the party was asked to vacate its Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg office by the Supreme Court earlier this year as the land was earmarked for the expansion of judicial infrastructure.

The AAP has occupied the DDU Marg office space since 2015 when it won the Delhi Assembly elections with full majority. While it was not a national party at the time, as per rules for state parties, it was entitled to office space in the city. It was officially granted national party status in 2023.
The new AAP office was earlier occupied by the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) but was vacated after it lost its national party status in September last year.

The Supreme Court had in March given the AAP until June 15 to vacate the DDU Marg office. The apex court later granted the party an extension until August 10.
