In a brazen attack, a BJP leader was shot dead in broad daylight on Thursday. According to a report by Jansatta, BJP leader Pramod Yadav was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Jaunpur. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him ‘dead on arrival’. Local reports say that a special team has been formed to arrest the attackers. Yadav contested the 2012 Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections. SP’s Paras Nath Yadav had won the polls.  The 55-year-old was working as BJP’s ‘Zila Mahamantri’. Yadav was killed in front of his house. Gunmen fired three shots and left the bike on the spot.
