Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapor starrer ‘2 States’ has opened very well with box office collections reaching Rs 24.55 crore in two days alone.

On the opening day, ‘2 States’ earned Rs 12.42 crore and Saturday’s earnings added another Rs 12.13 to the original figure.

Directed by Abhishek Varman, ‘2 states’ was released on Friday.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on twitter, “#2States *India* Fri Rs 12.42 cr, Sat 12.13 cr. Total: Rs 24.55 cr nett. India biz. Excellent!”
