A 23-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly sexually harassing a woman co-passenger during a flight from Delhi to Goa, officials said on Wednesday (November 20). The incident occurred aboard an Air India flight between 11 am and 1:20 pm on Tuesday, according to the FIR.

The 28-year-old woman, a resident of Janakpuri in New Delhi, reported that while the plane was in the air, the man sitting next to her pulled a blanket over himself and allegedly engaged in inappropriate behavior.

The FIR stated that he deliberately left the blanket open on her side during the act. Upon landing at Goa International Airport in Dabolim, the woman filed a complaint with the police.

The accused, identified as Jitender Jangian from Panipat, Haryana, was subsequently arrested by Dabolim airport police, a senior official confirmed.
