Fanory.ai, an AI-based monetisation platform for social media creators co-founded by former Twitter India head Manish Maheshwari, said on Thursday it will offer a guaranteed hourly monetization rate for creators with over 100,000 followers.

“Fanory’s enhanced AI capabilities enable an average creator with 100,000 followers to generate $54 per hour which is greater than Instagram ($22), Twitch ($16), YouTube ($15) and Spotify ($4),” the company said in a statement.

The platform leverages AI-enabled features such as pricing optimization, superfan visibility, content insights, and
creation assistance to offer a higher monetisation rate, compared to the broader industry.

The platform enables creators to monetize their followers through personalised and premium experiences, which offers an incremental revenue source in addition to brand endorsements and advertising. According to data shared by the company, 67% creators currently earn less than $25,000 annually, and 25% make earn less than $1,000 a year.

“Fanory.ai also has a coin-based ecosystem that simplifies the transaction process. SuperFans can easily purchase coins to spend on their favourite creators,” the company said.

Fanory.ai, which was launched earlier this year, currently has over 650 creators, with a follower base ranging from 100,000 to 10 million, including creators such as Sangram Singh, Anveshi Jain, Nikki Tamboli, Shivin Narang and Neha Malik. Besides Maheshwari, the other co-founders include Saurabh Kushwah, former product head of Network 18, and Azim Lalani, the former chief operating officer of Network 18 Digital.

Earlier this year, Pune-based digital entertainment company JetSynthesys acquired a majority stake in Fanory, without disclosing specific details. As per Tracxn data, JetSynthesys has raised a total funding of $94 million over 8 rounds, from investors such as former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, Infosys co-founder Kris Gopalakrishnan, Prathithi Investment, Poonawalla Finance and Rising Sun Holdings.
