Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 15 National Highway and ropeway projects worth Rs 4,000 crore in Hamirpur on Tuesday.

Gadkari announced an additional Rs 150 crore for roads and bridges in Himachal Pradesh, responding to Vikramaditya Singh’s request. He urged the state government to submit a proposal to the Centre for this allocation.

Gadkari related BJP to development, stating that works worth Rs 1 lakh crore would be completed in the state by 2024 under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

While Union Minister Anurag Thakur and Himachal Pradesh Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh were present at the event, BJP’s national president JP Nadda joined virtually.
