The inaugural run of the new Vande Bharat Express, connecting Pune and Hubli, has been rescheduled from September 15 to September 16, The Indian Express reported. The officials from the Pune Division of Railways have announced that the trial run, initially set for September 15, has been postponed by a day. Final confirmation is pending approval from higher authorities.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually flag off the inaugural run from Jamshedpur.

Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the Pune Division of Central Railway, Ram Paul Barpagga, said that the Vande Bharat Express is a “significant” development for Pune. “This is a trial run which will now happen at 11 am on September 16. As of now, no schedule has been decided yet on what day the service will commence,” he added.

Hubli to Pune Vande Bharat Express Timings

The Hubli-Pune Vande Bharat Express will depart Hubli in Karnataka at 5 am and arrive in Pune at 1:30 pm. After a brief one-hour stop, the train will depart from Pune at 2:30 pm to begin its return journey, arriving at its final destination, Hubli, by 10:00 pm. This will bring the total travel time for the round trip to approximately 17 hours.
