The registration process for special ‘Aastha trains’ from Himachal Pradesh to Ayodhya has begun, BJP leader Rajiv Saizal announced on Saturday, reported ANI. These trains are specifically arranged for people from the state who wish to visit the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

Duration of Himachal-Ayodhya Aastha Trains

These special Aastha trains from Himachal Pradesh are scheduled to operate for a period of two months, providing a convenient travel option for devotees wanting to participate in the Pran Prathistha ceremony at the Lord Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22.

Aastha trains from Himachal Pradesh to Ayodhya: Fare and departure dates

These special Aastha trains will run from Himachal Pradesh to Ayodhya between January 25 and March 26. For devotees from the Kangra region, trains are expected to depart from Pathankot. Meanwhile, for Kullu, Mandi, and Bilaspur, the departure points will be from Una. Additionally, trains are likely to commence from Kalka for districts like Kinnaur, Shimla, Sirmaur, and Solan.

People opting for this journey will be required to pay a nominal amount of Rs 1500, covering their stay during the pilgrimage.

Registration Process and Public Participation

Saizal mentioned the ongoing registration process and the active involvement of party workers in motivating people for Ayodhya darshan. The anticipation is high, with many eager to seize this opportunity.

Recognizing the expected surge in devotees traveling to Ayodhya, the Railways is prepared to efficiently run the Aastha trains to facilitate the pilgrimage.
