Central Railway’s Mumbai Division will implement special traffic and power blocks at Kasara Station on October 20 and 21, 2024, to facilitate crucial infrastructure enhancements. The works include the extension and widening of Platform No. 1 and the extension of three R&D lines in the Down Yard. Pre-NI works are currently underway, and the necessary blocks have been scheduled to minimize disruption.

The planned blocks will take place as follows:

  • Date and Duration:
    • From 03:20 hours on October 20, 2024, to 01:20 hours on October 21, 2024 (22 hours).
    • Down Line: From 10:40 hours to 13:40 hours on October 20, 2024 (3 hours).
    • Up Line: From 12:40 hours to 13:40 hours on October 20, 2024 (1 hour).
    • Combined Up & Down Lines: From 19:20 hours on October 20, 2024, to 01:20 hours on October 21, 2024 (6 hours).
