As of now, the finishing work for the station is actively in progress, with teams working diligently to ensure timely completion. In a recent tweet by the Ministry of Railways, it was highlighted that rapid construction is underway at the Ahmedabad Bullet Train Station. The tweet included images comparing the station’s progress from April 2023 to August 2024.

About Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project
The Mumbai–Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor (MAHSR) is currently under construction, linking Mumbai, India’s financial capital, with Ahmedabad, the largest city in Gujarat. Construction began in April 2020, with the 352 km stretch in Gujarat expected to be fully operational by 2027.
The initial segment, a 50 km section from Surat to Bilimora, is slated to open in August 2026. The remaining portion connecting to Mumbai is projected to be completed by the end of 2028.
