Central Railway announces 28 festival special train trips for Diwali and Chhath

These special trains are set to accommodate the increased flow of travelers heading to northern regions of India.

In response to the anticipated surge in passenger traffic for the upcoming Diwali and Chhath festivals, Central Railway has unveiled plans to operate 28 special train runs.

Central Railway is set to run 28 special train trips to accommodate the surge in passenger traffic expected during the Diwali and Chhath festivals. These Festival Specials will help manage the increased number of travelers heading to northern regions of India during the peak season.

Details of the Special Trains:

LTT Mumbai-Banaras Weekly Special (4 trips)
- Train 01053: Departs LTT Mumbai at 12:15 hrs on Wednesdays (30.10.2024 and 06.11.2024) and arrives in Banaras at 16:05 hrs the next day.
- Train 01054: Departs Banaras at 20:30 hrs on Thursdays (31.10.2024 and 07.11.2024) and arrives in LTT Mumbai at 23:55 hrs the following day.
- Composition: 6 AC-III Tier, 10 Sleeper Class, 3 Second Class coaches, including a Guard’s Brake Van and a Generator Car (20 LHB Coaches).
LTT-Danapur Bi-Weekly Special (8 trips)
- Train 01009: Departs LTT Mumbai at 12:15 hrs on Mondays and Saturdays (26.10.2024, 28.10.2024, 02.11.2024, and 04.11.2024) and arrives in Danapur at 17:00 hrs the next day.
- Train 01010: Departs Danapur at 18:15 hrs on Tuesdays and Sundays (27.10.2024, 29.10.2024, 03.11.2024, and 05.11.2024) and arrives in LTT Mumbai at 23:55 hrs the following day.
- Composition: 6 AC-III Tier, 10 Sleeper Class, 3 Second Class coaches, including a Guard’s Brake Van and a Generator Car (20 LHB Coaches).
LTT-Samastipur Weekly Special (4 trips)
- Train 01043: Departs LTT Mumbai at 12:15 hrs on Thursdays (31.10.2024 and 07.11.2024) and arrives in Samastipur at 21:15 hrs the next day.
- Train 01044: Departs Samastipur at 23:20 hrs on Fridays (01.11.2024 and 08.11.2024) and arrives in LTT Mumbai at 07:40 hrs on the third day.
- Composition: 6 AC-III Tier, 10 Sleeper Class, 3 Second Class coaches, including a Guard’s Brake Van and a Generator Car (20 LHB Coaches).
LTT-Prayagraj Weekly Special (4 trips)
- Train 01045: Departs LTT Mumbai at 12:15 hrs on Tuesdays (29.10.2024 and 05.11.2024) and arrives in Prayagraj at 11:20 hrs the next day.
- Train 01046: Departs Prayagraj at 18:50 hrs on Wednesdays (30.10.2024 and 06.11.2024) and arrives in LTT Mumbai at 16:05 hrs the next day.
- Composition: 2 AC-III Tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 8 Second Class coaches, including 2 Guard’s Brake Vans (18 ICF Coaches).
LTT-Gorakhpur Bi-Weekly Special (8 trips)
- Train 01123: Departs LTT Mumbai at 12:15 hrs on Fridays and Sundays (25.10.2024, 27.10.2024, 01.11.2024, and 03.11.2024) and arrives in Gorakhpur at 18:55 hrs the next day.
- Train 01124: Departs Gorakhpur at 21:15 hrs on Saturdays and Mondays (26.10.2024, 28.10.2024, 02.11.2024, and 04.11.2024) and arrives in LTT Mumbai at 07:25 hrs on the third day.
- Composition: 2 AC-III Tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 8 Second Class coaches, including 2 Guard’s Brake Vans (18 ICF Coaches).
