The Noida Metro Rail Corporation has said that it will be running an increased number of trips between September 21- September 25 in the wake of the UP International Trade Show. 

Passengers will be able to avail a train every 7.5 minutes from 8 am to 10 pm, The Indian Express reported. Earlier, the train timing was 6 am to 10 pm and the frequency of the train was kept at 10 minutes during non-peak hours.

International Trade Show

President Draupadi Murmu will be inaugurating the UP International Trade Show today. The exhibition, where over 2,000 exhibitors from Uttar Pradesh will showcase their products, will be held from September 21 – September 25 at India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Noida. Crafts from 12 cities in UP will also be displayed in the ‘Hall of Town of Export Excellence’ in the International Trade Show complex.

Parking facility at Noida Metro stations

As per NMRC’s Managing Director Dr Lokesh M, the Aqua Line can be used by the visitors to reach the exhibition directly. The line’s Knowledge Park– II station is the nearest Metro station to the venue for the exhibition. Parking facility is also available for the public at eight Aqua Line metro stations namely; Sector 51, Sector 76, NSEZ, Sector 142, Sector-137, Pari Chowk, Alpha 1 and Delta 1.

Exhibitors at the show will be coming from multiple sectors such as agriculture and horticulture, defense corridor, e-commerce, banking and financial services, GI tag products, handloom,  film sector, and dairy products, among others.

MotoGP Bharat 2023

India is hosting its first-ever MotoGP Grand Prix from September 22-24, 2023 at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. It features 82 riders from 41 teams. This is the first biggest motor racing event held in India after Formula 1.
