Delhi Metro has been a lifeline for the people of the city. Offering hiccup free travel, the metros are also easy on the pockets.  The punctuality and affordability of Delhi Metro makes it the top choice for daily commuters.

Earlier this week, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri boarded the Metro in Delhi to reach Yashobhoomi in Dwarka Sector 25. He took to X to share his experience and appreciation for Delhi metro. He boarded the train from Shivaji Stadium.

In his post, Puri said that the ride took him just 19 minutes, covering 22 kilometres.

“19 minutes & ₹70 is all it took to cover 22 kms by Delhi’s world class metro network to reach Yashobhoomi, India’s world class Convention & Expo Centre in Dwarka Sector 25 from Shivaji Stadium for a discussion on the clean & green fuel of the future at India Bioenergy & Tech Expo!” he wrote.

In another post, Puri added a video of him travelling in the metro. That video also showed some cars stuck in traffic on Delhi roads. Captioning the video he wrote, “Bahar Jam, Ander Shanti! (Outside traffic, inside peace)”

He added travel by Delhi Metro is “affordable, safe, environment friendly and efficient”
